Description
Prudhoe Bay Oil Field is a large oil field on Alaska’s North Slope. It is the largest oil field in North America, covering 213,543 acres and originally containing approximately 25 billion barrels of oil. The amount of recoverable oil in the field is more than double that of the next largest field in the United States by acreage.
Challenge
With the largest and most profitable oil and gas exploration companies operating in Prudhoe Bay, one of their top goals in maximizing revenue is to ensure an efficient fleet and minimizing downtime helps them achieve this objective.
Solution
We replaced antiquated processes to deliver scalable, intuitive-solutions that proactively managed our clients fleets in tracking vehicles and equipment. This in turn allowed us to improve communication to avoid bottlenecks, streamline the maintenance process and adhere to budgets by calculating the total cost to ownership with each repaired or replaced piece of equipment.
Successful Completed Project
Given the long term and uncertain nature of vehicle sustainability, especially within this geological environment, WWPE implemented more time and cost effective solutions that delivered greater certainty in meeting the primary fleet objectives. We successfully contributed to the production of over 2 Million BBLS a day of oil production.
- Proactively Managed Fleet to Ensure Production Goals.
- Calculated Cost of Ownership.
- Supported over 2 Million BBLS a day.
